Just a thought...
"Church"
Church, is the "place" we come to assemble together, the place, where we are supposed to draw strength and find peace. A place of refuge, a shelter to come to, after all of the issues of life, each one of us face, on a daily basis. You know the things that have almost taken us under!
It is the place to be refreshed, restored and sustained.
It is like going to a gas station, to refuel your empty car.
A place to be filled up, refueled and ready to face the days that will unfold ahead of us.
The "church family" is called to be "IMITATORS" of Jesus.
IMITATOR: noun
1. Impersonator, someone who ASSUMES the APPEARANCE of another.
2. Copycat, emulator, someone who COPIES the WORDS or BEHAVIOR of another.
IMPERSONATE:
Portray or act the character of.
IMPERSONATION:
IMITATING the MANNERISMS of another person.
Remember, I am talking about Jesus.
DO WE LOOK LIKE HIM?
ARE WE COPYING HIM?
ARE WE ACTING LIKE HIM?
ARE WE WALKING LIKE HIM?
ARE WE TALKING LIKE HIM?
DO WE HAVE HIS MANNERISMS?
HE IS THE GIFT OF LOVE.
HE WAS MOVED WITH COMPASSION. ALWAYS.
WE, THE PEOPLE ARE THE CHURCH.
WE ARE THE CHURCH BODY.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20.
19. WHAT? Know you not that your BODY IS THE TEMPLE of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which you have of GOD, and ye are not your OWN?
20. For ye are BOUGHT with a PRICE: therefore glorify GOD in your BODY, and in your SPIRIT WHICH ARE GOD'S.
1 Timothy 3:5.
For if a man know not how to rule his OWN house, how shall he take care of the church of GOD?
If we expect people to come into the building, that we call our "church"
the place that we assemble to worship GOD. Then, we the people, we the church, are to PORTRAY the IMAGE of HIM, JESUS, who was and still is, our ultimate example. If we call ourselves Christ-like, then, we are to be the same EXAMPLE, to a lost and dying world. Also to the church family that already exists.
Galatians 6:10.
As we have therefore OPPORTUNITY, LET US DO GOOD UNTO ALL MEN, ESPECIALLY unto them who are OF THE HOUSEHOLD OF FAITH.
This will be the determining factor of whether people will come in, or not.

If, "IT" Matters To You

When something matters to you..."IT really matters, doesn't "IT?"
No matter what that something is, whether "IT" is circumstances beyond your control...
Maybe your dreams and your visions, have been shattered, and you are broken, because of this...
You may be experiencing sickness, that is causing your body extreme pain.
"IT" could be that you are in need of new direction in your life...
Maybe you have prayed, and prayed earnestly, even shed many tears about your situation and you are still silently awaiting your answer.
Perhaps, right now, you feel like you are only hanging on by a frayed thread, find your strength in GOD'S unconditional LOVE, tie a knot in " IT" and HOLD ON! HOLD ON! HOPE IS ON THE WAY!
JESUS IS THE ANSWER.
REMEMBER, YOU ARE SPECIAL TO OUR FATHER and
YOU MATTER!
If, "IT" matters to you, "IT" doesn't only matter to you.
"IT" MATTERS TO GOD!
HE knows the number of hairs on your head, they are numbered.
You can trust HIM!
HE sees every sparrow that falls to the ground.
Are you not of much more value, to HIM?
HE IS CALLING...COME UNTO ME, ALL OF YOU, THOSE OF YOU, WHO ARE AT YOUR WITS END, THOSE WHO ARE TIRED AND WORN, HE SAYS, CEASE FROM YOUR OWN WORKS. HE PROMISED TO GIVE REST.
HE CARES.
HE IS SPEAKING PEACE.
PRAYER IS THE PLACE, WHERE BURDENS CHANGE SHOULDERS.

I have been forgiven!
Have you been forgiven?
When we ask God to forgive...HE does!!!
HE places ALL of our sins, ALL of them, into the sea of no more remembrance!
As far as the east is from the west! Never to be remembered against you, and I, ever again!
Why is it then, that we have such a hard time forgiving ourselves?
Because we have some enemies! Yes, we do!
The devil, people, and ourselves.
First, The devil is the enemy of our soul, he is the accuser! He never takes a rest. He is constantly trying to make you relive your past. Remember, He is walking about, AS A ROARING LION seeking whom he may devour.
The Key word here is, AS!
It is time, TODAY, to put him in his rightful place, where he belongs... Under our feet!
Secondly, we have people. Some are family, some are close friends, some are acquaintances and then we have the religious crowd. A people who "think" God came down from HIS SEAT and changed places with them. These know-it-all folks, who think they have everything figured out. They have set themselves up as the jury, the judge and the executioner!
SITTING IN JUDGEMENT...
Pointing their hypocritical, religious finger at anyone who goes against their beliefs.
Notice I said, "their beliefs." Most of the time they go by their own experience and DO NOT have a clue about the details of your situation, anyway!
Never caring enough to find out what the Word of GOD says about it, nor do they apply Biblical principals in finding a solution.
The type of execution they use is their tongue! What a POWERFUL, but small WEAPON it is!
In my opinion, it would seem to me that it would be more humane to take a gun or a knife and kill them once, than to continually use your tongue to murder that person over and over again!
Think about this...The tongue, has brought down many people, crushing them, until they would have been better off dead.. Insead of trying to repair themselves after harsh words, and lies, were spoken in the spirit of condemnation, against them. Even if you know what is being said, is the truth, it is WRONG for it to be repeated. This is another way to condemn and wound someone, also, it is called GOSSIP!
Oh, be careful little lips, what you say!
Yes, these self righteous people will bring up your dead and buried stuff, as long as you allow them to do so! IF YOU continue to allow them, they WILL DO IT! They will remind you of ALL of your PAST mistakes and failures. You can stop it! Tell them that your past is just that! Your past! Because, Thank you Jesus, IT IS UNDER THE BLOOD!
"DOES ANYONE HAVE A MIRROR?" Take a long look at yourself...before you go saying something about someone else!
Hmmmm......Maybe, we should carry our own bag of pebbles, rocks, and stones, to hand out to our accusers...because, we know they are talking, anyway!
ACCUSERS...Do not forget where GOD has brought you from! You may just find yourself walking in the person's shoes...you know, the one you are slicing through and murdering with your sharp tongue. The Word describes "the tongue" as a small member, but it is full of deadly poison! No matter the size of your words, they all hurt!
Thirdly, we are our worst enemy. We feel that we have done too many things that are unpardonable. We believe that we cannot be forgiven. We hold ourselves captive to the condemnation our old way of life. Remember this, ALL of us have a past! ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of GOD.
Do you remember these words? JESUS said, "Neither do I condemn thee!"
"You who are without sin, you be the first one, to throw your stone!"
IF you are a born again, blood bought Christian, then as children of God, being Christ-like, just give them the words of Jesus! Don't try to justify yourself about anything...you do not owe an explaination, if you have been forgiven!
Because, in their courtroom, anything you say, can and will be used against you!
Do you remember these words? Jesus said them!
JESUS SAID, "WHERE ARE YOUR ACCUSERS?"
The woman said, "NO MAN, LORD."
JESUS SAID, "NEITHER DO I CONDEMN YOU, GO AND SIN NO MORE!"
There is NOW NO CONDEMNATION...TO A BLOOD BOUGHT CHILD OF THE MOST HIGH GOD!
Stop listening to the enemy he is a liar!
Stop listening to people!
Remind yourself, GOD LOVES YOU!
THE BLOOD OF JESUS COVERS YOU!
YOU ARE FORGIVEN!
YOU ARE A NEW CREATION, IN HIM!
Get in the Word of GOD, all of the answers are there! Find out to WHOM it is, you belong!
Then you will not have any questions, as to who you are in Christ Jesus!
Do it today!

I realize this is a long post. But, it is burning within my heart. I feel the need to share it today.
REPENT
1. repent, atone, turn away from sin or do penitence.
2. repent, regret, feel remorse for; feel sorry for; be contrite about.
Turn away from? What does that mean?
TURN:
1. To change the position of so as to show the other side.
2. To change the direction or course of. To direct or change one's way or course.
3. To transform or to become transformed; change.
4. A departure or deviation, as in a trend.
It's time for the church to REPENT! IT'S TIME FOR A REVOLUTION!
Revolution: A SUDDEN or momentous CHANGE in a situation.
[< Lat. revolutus, p.part of revolvers, turn over.]
Marked by or resulting in RADICAL CHANGE.
REVOLUTIONIZE: TO BRING about a radical change.
Revolve: To orbit a central point.
To turn on an axis.
To recur periodically.
[< Lat. revolvere, turn over.]
Question.
How many of you have ever used revolving doors?
I have. You and I know, we must make the conscious decision of when to exit. Otherwise we will continue to rotate around and around, spinning in the same direction.
Repentance IS NOT a revolving door! It is making the decision to go in a different direction.
To turn away from it and exit! If you are sick and tired of the insanity of doing the same things over and over, expecting them to change, then its time to STOP IT! EXIT the revolving door of sin and REPENT!
Matthew 4:17.
From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, REPENT: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Mark 1:15.
And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of GOD is at HAND: REPENT ye and BELIEVE the GOSPEL.
Luke 13:3.
I tell you, Nay: but, EXCEPT ye REPENT, ye shall all likewise perish.
Acts 2:38.
Then Peter said unto them, REPENT, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the Holy Ghost.
Acts 3:19.
REPENT ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the LORD.
Acts 17:30.
And the times of this ignorance GOD winked at; BUT NOW COMMANDETH ALL MEN EVERYWHERE TO REPENT.
Revelation 2:5.
REMEMBER therefore from whence thou art FALLEN, and REPENT, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly and remove thy candlestick out of his place, EXCEPT THOU REPENT.
Revelation 2:16.
REPENT; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
Revelation 3:19.
As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore and REPENT.
20. BEHOLD I STAND AT THE DOOR, AND KNOCK: IF any man hear my voice, and OPEN the door, I WILL COME INTO HIM, and will sup with him, and he with me.
AGAIN, Repentance is not a revolving door! Until we STOP the old patterns, of living our lives any way we want to, and if we continue to partake of those things we know are wrong, we are not a new creation! Continuing in sin, will separate us from God and we will remain the same old person.
Romans 6:23.
For the wages of SIN IS DEATH; but the GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD.
Romans 10:9-13.
That if thou shalt CONFESS with thy MOUTH the LORD Jesus, and BELIEVE in thine HEART that GOD hath raised HIM from the dead, THOU SHALT BE SAVED.
10. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto SALVATION.
11. For the scripture saith, WHOSOEVER believeth on HIM shall not be ashamed.
12. For there is no DIFFERENCE between the Jew and the Greek: for the SAME LORD OVER ALL IS RICH UNTO ALL THAT CALL UPON HIM.

Grief ~ DeVonne Reed
Grief.
4/20/2015. 1:20 am.
Grief:
1. Heartache, heartbreak, brokenheartedness, intense sorrow caused by loss of a loved one (especially by death).
2. Grief, sorrow something that causes great unhappiness.
Grief-stricken:
Bereaved, bereft, grief-stricken, grieving, mourning, sorrowing, sorrowful through loss or deprivation.
I am sharing this with those of you who are hurting, right now.
Now, at this very moment you are feeling like your heart is broken or that it has been shredded into a million pieces, as you are going through or facing the most painful or difficult time or event of your your life.
Whether you have lost a loved one to death, or perhaps you are going through a divorce, or a separation, whatever it may be...and no matter what your situation is or your circumstances are, the pain you are experiencing, it is real. It really does hurt, and it hurts deeply. This may be the worst pain you have ever experienced.
If you have lost someone or something near and dear to your heart, REMEMBER, it is okay to grieve. Go ahead and cry. God cares, HE see, HE knows.
Psalm 56:8. KJV.
Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?
Yes, HE has your tears in HIS bottle. In HIS book, every tear you have shed, every one of them, they are recorded. Tears are the language that God understands.
Grief is real. There is no limit, take all the time you need.
TRULY, the matter of the heart, is a matter of the heart!
They say, "Time heals all wounds." Maybe a broken heart is included. Maybe it does.
But, I believe, that Jesus is the HEALER and MENDER, of all things that are BROKEN.
Pick up your heart and carry it to healing hands. There is no scar, no pain he won't understand. Those broken dreams you've carried this far, need HIS touch to mend. Pick up your heart and carry it to healing hands.

Year End Clearance ~ DeVonne Reed

At this time, we have heard tons of commercials about huge clearance sales.
Companies, selling out old inventory and making way for new merchandise to arrive.
This is the word, I received at 4:30 am. December 30, 2014.
I heard, Holy Spirit, very clearly.
He said,
"Today is the day. It is time for the Year End Clearance!"
Definitions.
Clearance: the distance by which one thing clears another.
The space between them.
Vertical space available to allow easy passage under something.
Clearance.
Permission to proceed.
Clearance sale:
Inventory - clearance sale.
Cut-rate.
Reduce inventory.
Making room.
I heard, Holy Spirit say, "it is time to get rid of all of the junk, clutter, and unusable items.
Get rid of the stuff that is just laying around taking up too much space, in your life. It is time to take out the trash and empty it. GET RID OF IT!"
He said,
1. Clean your slate- Your life.
Get rid of ANYTHING, (ALL) that will separate you, from ME!
He said,
2. Clean out your closet- Your heart.
Get rid of all of that extra baggage. It is filled with weights, and they are too heavy for you to carry.
Take it out. EMPTY THE TRASH! Let go of the things you have carried and held onto for years. Such as: jealousy, anger, unforgiveness, wrath, malice, and hatred, etc. He said, go deep into every crevice, nook and cranny, clean it out and get rid of it!
There is no room for ME, as long as you continue to carry the deeds of the old man. Don't let bitterness defile your life any longer.
Take off the old tattered and torn garment and put on your new garment. Be renewed in the knowledge after the image of Jesus. There is a new place HE wants to take you to. It is a place of peace and rest."
3. He said, " walk in love, forebear, and FORGIVE, FORGIVE and FORGIVE!"
LET IT GO!
"YEAR END CLEARANCE"
If we will cleanse ourselves, and reduce our inventory, get rid of our own cut-rate items, He will bring new ones. "IF" we can see, we need to let them go, and just DO IT, Father will see that we are willing to make room for Him, to work, putting the new things in their place.
HE has promised to give to each one of us direction.
When we decide to make the clearance, HE WILL give us clearance!
He will show us a passageway, He will give us a license to move forward. He will give us His permission, and His authorization, for us to proceed into this new year, fully equipped and ready for His use.
