THE CHOICE IS OURS!
We have many options in life.
We get to choose, what we will or will not do.
Yes, we all have made some decisions that left us standing there holding an empty bag.
The emptiness is very loud. We can hear clearly the resounding repercussions, of our choices.
The drum rolls, are like thunder, constantly echoing, repeating over and over, all of the results of our WRONG choices we have chosen.
But, to be successful in Life...
I have learned, it is all about the "TAKES."
The good takes, accelerate us and help us to continue to move on.
The bad takes, are teachers! They help us learn to not do the same things over again.
We must, with a clear conscience make the decision, to do the RIGHT things in life.
It is in these times, while doing the right thing, I have experienced true happiness...
It feels good! It feels really good!
The choices we make, whether they be good ones or bad. They belong to us!
GOOD, WILL always outweigh the BAD!
In the long run, life is sweeter when we make good choices.
No, I do not claim to be perfect and yes at times in my life, I haven't always done the right thing.
Yes, I admit it!
Everyday, I Thank God, that I did learn from EVERY mistake that I have ever made. It was right there, I made a promise to myself, with God's help, to never do that thing again!
Don't misunderstand what I am saying here.
I DO NOT go out and sin willfully.
But, I am saying, "IF" I choose to or when I do stumble and fall, I will be quick to admit it! There is no one else to blame but me, myself and I!
You and I do NOT...
WE DO NOT have power over another person to make them do one thing! We can only whet another persons appetite, with suggestions and persuasion!
Again, the choices is ours!
What I choose, good or bad... The benefits or consequences will be mine and I will have to accept responsibility for my own actions.
I choose and I strive daily to shun the wrong and do the right!
Come on now, you know as well as I do, it is true...
Our flesh wants to have its own way and rule our lives!
Who said Doing the right thing was easy?
It is not! No, it is not always easy to do the right thing.
But, doing the RIGHT thing, sure does feel good! I appreciate being able to lay my head down at night and sleep well, because I have a clear conscience. No pillow is softer!
And IF doing what is right...means I must stand alone, without another person there with me, then so be it... I will stand alone.
"People" are going to come and go, anyway. They will walk away from you and I. But. That's okay too!
Because, in reality, we are not ever alone!
Jesus is with us, yes, HE will be there with you and I, all of the time!
Remember these WORDS OF TRUTH!
JESUS said," I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU, I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS, UNTIL THE END!"
No, never alone!
